Phyllis Lobo knows firsthand what a difference Literacy How can make in teacher effectiveness and student outcomes. As a fifteen-year veteran elementary school teacher, she learned best practices from Literacy How professional development. Phyllis immediately saw the vast difference in her classroom and went back for more training. Her students’ progress was remarkable as she continued to implement all she had learned. Now a member of the Literacy How team, the former K, grades 1, 2 and 5 teacher looks forward to sharing knowledge and best practices. Phyllis particularly enjoys working with teachers in Kindergarten and Grade 1 since mammoth growth in reading and writing take place in these early years. She holds a Masters degree in Reading from Southern Connecticut State University and is certified in elementary education and remedial reading.
